Good things came in the mail today! NECA has been hitting it out of the park with some of their recent figures and there was no way I was passing up a chance to have a Dr. Loomis action figure in the collection! My Ultimate Michael Myers & Dr Loomis 2-Pack arrived today, and it is awesome!

I have the Halloween III set too. Awesome! Got the Halloween II set from FYE. Ordered from their website.

By the way, this is a perfect day for a viewing of ‘The Thing’!
It is! You know if you watch the 2011 prequel immediately before Carpenter’s classic, it actually makes a nice companion piece/warm-up to the 1982 masterpiece. Almost like a 2-hour precredit sequence. LOL!
That was the plan, but one of us (not pointing at my wife) didn’t have the attention span for both, so I went with Carpenter.
I think I’ll get the prequel on one of my amazon shopping trips. You are right, it was like a loooong precredit scene. 🙂
