GHOST WALK by BRIAN KEENE

Fun and spooky book by Brian Keene that takes place after the events of his Dark Hollow and follows an ancient evil trying to make it’s way into this world through LeHorn’s Hollow. The book picks up with a man named Ken Ripple who is building a Halloween themed “Ghost Walk” through the woods surrounding the supposedly haunted hollow. At the same time, a powerful and malevolent being called Nodens is trying to enter this world, at the point at which the layers between worlds are thinnest…Halloween. Coming to save the day are feisty female reporter Maria Nasr and an ex-Amish, demon fighter named Levi Stoltzfus. This is a very entertaining book that takes place in the same setting as Keene’s spooky Dark Hollow and utilizes some of the same characters and area lore. It introduces one of his best characters, Levi Stoltzfus, and is a fast paced and creepy story all set on Halloween. A fun horror novel and a nice follow up to the events of Dark Hollow. This is yet another Keene book that begs to be a movie, as does Levi Stoltzfus need a flick, or better yet, a streaming series.
